Who can go on this mission trip?
Anyone from middle school to senior adults can go on this trip! In order to participate you will need to complete the Southside Missions application to the church office or through our website and submit a $50 deposit by Sunday, January 21st.
When is the trip?
This trip will be during the summer, either the third or fourth week of June.
What will we be doing?
We will be working alongside Pillar Church of Dumfries and some of their church plants. Primarily, we are hoping to do a week long kids “Arts” Camp. This camp will include any of the “arts” that we can do (i.e. photography, music, dance, drawing, painting, crafting, etc) We can get really creative with this! We will also hear from the NAMB SEND city coordinator about what God is doing in the D.C. area. And, of course, there will be some time for sightseeing! Learn more about our host church at http://pillardumfries.com/
What is the cost/travel breakdown?
Total cost per person will cover food (does not include meals traveling to and from DC or our sightseeing day), traveling expenses, lodging, and items for the projects. Total will be at least $250 per person and will vary depending on whether we fly or drive.
